Our chapter has been very active in fundraising to support Japan Relief and Recovery efforts and we are so grateful for the overwhelming support we've received from the Sonoma county community.
To date, we have collected over $48,000. Please note that we send 100% of all donations to Direct Relief International a non-profit medical assistance and direct relief agency widely recognized as one of the most efficient fundraising organizations in the United States.
If you are interested in donating to our Japan relief effort, please send your check made out to Sonoma County JACL to:

There is an overall feeling throughout our community that these efforts will need to continue for as long as possible due to the severity of the catastrophe in Japan. Our chapter will continue to participate in fundraising activites for this important cause and welcomes the opportuinity to sponsor other organization's events.
